Replaced cooling system, still overheating

87 Wagoneer 4.0, replaced radiator, upper and lower radiator hoses, water pump, and took thermostat out and it still over heats in idle in about 5-10min. First over heated when dragging 500lb tree in reverse out in desert.

you may need to burp the system. do a search for how to properly do so. and put a thermostat back in!
