reciever hitch

I picked up a reciever as my first mod on my "new" 93 Cherokee. It turned out to be a class II with a 1 1/2 hole. The guy told me they don't make one with the 2" in it. Is this right. Surley not my 2000 wrangler has one one it that I bought from a supply place that is closed now.

They make a class 3-4 With a 2" receiver. Mine is a Reese, but the other companies have them also. Don't go back to that guy, it sounds like he only wants to sell you what he has in stock.

Thanks I just ordered one from Rusty's and while I was at it I ordered his 3" lift. Let the games begin. I am sure I will ask alot of questions this forum has already helped me make the decision to go 3 not 4.5 all of the great info and pictures.

Yeh, that guy is smoking crack. Heck, even U-Haul has a Class III hitch for the Cherokee with the 2" receiver, LOL!

GKB let me know how the lift goes, I'm lifting mine 1.5(spring spacer & rear shackles). I am thinking about going with a 3in later, when warrenty runs out, and I wasn't sure if I'd add it to my 1.5 or just replace it. Why did you only go with 3?

I looked at both the 4 and 3 inch and some pictures of Jeeps on this site with both. I plan on doing a safari rack with the spare mounted on top and thought that may make a clearance problem getting in my garage. I also understand that you should really run 31 x 10.50's with the 4 anyway.
