Rear Split Bench UPDATE COMPLETED (pics)

UPDATED AND FINISHED; There are a ton of new pictures and a few videos.

I wanted to have my tool box behind the drivers seat and still haul a person or two, I couldn't find any write-ups on this so I'm sure there is room for improvement. The only thing left to do is the seat back center pivot point, all the parts are ZJ rear seat parts (hinges etc).
I had the upholstery done by a friend for $70 total.

I modified the ZJ hinges like this.

Stripped off the upholstery

Cut the seat bottom where I wanted it

Put the hinges on

Test fit and cut the curve for the tunnel

It raises up

Looks awesome! I've thought about trying to get two individual seats back there, but I like the 60 bench seat. Great job!

Thanks for the comments guys. I started this mod over a month ago, and just got the other part of the seat back tonight, I am excited to finally get to post it here.

Nice work. ONE QUESTION----how stiff/stable is the remaining seatback on the passenger's side of the back seat now that it's only supported/latched at one end?
