Rear courtesy light lens removal -how

I guess this is technical .

That courtesy light, the one on the inside (top) when you raise the rear gate. htf do you get it off? The "pusher" on-off switch is stuck on mine. Do I just pry it off with a screwdriver or somethin' . Figured I'd ask before I try and end up busting it. Thanks.

On mine, I just squeezed the sides of the lens and it came off easily
