Do it right the 1st time and go with full packs. It will save you money in the long run...

Ride Differences: AAL will be softer, and a little less stable and will sag a lot quicker, forcing you to replace it frequently or get the leafs re-arched, both of which are a waste of money. They allow for a lot of travel though. Check out some of my pics with the black Jeep. Those are stock leafs with 2" aal and 2" blocks in the rear. It flexed better than my front with ZJ coils and 2" spacers.

Get the leaf packs, they are new and will settle less, and will be more stable on the road while allowing for plenty of travel on the road. you'll lose a little articulation, but you'll be using it mainly on the road not off so that won't matter.

Stiff compared to stock. Many lift kits will be like because of the uprated spring rates. I don't mind it as it feel more "stable" compared to the soft stock setup. I also drive my XJ daily which is about 40-50 miles a day and I have no complaints. Yes at the beginning the rear full leaf packs will be stiff but they will break in and soften up. I'm glad I went with full leafs packs from the get go...like said before do it right the first time.
