Radio issue

Okay very quick, dirty simple. Just need some advice.
400 watt amp, LED headlights, alpine head unit is all I run everyday for the most part. The whole jeep has been converted to LED to help with draw against alternator.

Recently my radio which is only months old has been turning on and off. Nothing seems to really be a trigger but obviously turning it up loud shuts itself off.

Just want to know if this mean my alternator is going? I'm currently looking over all the wiring and double checking the connections. Advice very much welcomed please help!!!

I would guess if your Alt was going the whole jeep would shut off, well after the battery ran out of juice. At least it makes sense to me

Like you said check all connections

Check all your power going to the radio, but I had the sane issue with another aftermarket radio and it turned out to be a large power capacitor inside the radio. I replaced it and all was well.
