radio antenna
I have a 93 Cherokee. The radio antenna wire has unplugged between the antenna and the connection into the cab. I have all the parts to replace the antenna. How do I get access inside? Do I pull the plastic trim off the front right wheel?

I WAS GOING TO REPLACE MY ANTENNA ON A 90 CHEROKEE LIMITED, SO, I LOOKED AT THE WAY THE ANTENNA IS CRAMPED INTO THE FENDER AND THE ONLY THING I CAME UP WITH WAS TO TAKE THE FENDER DOWN - HENCE, STILL USING THE OLD ANTENNA AT HALF MAST.

Check inside the cab on the passenger side, behind front kick panel. My 88XJ has a two (2) piece antenna cable and the OTHER connection (the one that came apart) is behind this kick panel. I reconnected the two halves and then used electricians tape to hold the two halves together. Radio reception is now GREAT!!!
