Radio Antenna

I need to replace my inoperative and broken automatic radio antenna. I think a fixed mast antenna is all I need. Anyone have any insight on what a good option might be? The antenna will be used for AM/FM only; no cell phone, etc.

http://www.alfenterprises.com/antennas/amfm_antennas.htm the firestik AM/FM antenna looks promising. 300 inches of wire wraped around a fiberglass stick should pick up everything on the AM/FM band.

A universal antenna is not a good candidate for the Cherokee due to the steep angle on the fender where the antenna mounts.
But I did find a couple on Ebay that were XJ specific. Thanks to Jeepernick for that suggestion.

You have to remove the rubber liner inside the passenger side front fender well. The power antenna is held in by the nut on top of the plastic adapter on the top of the fender and a bracket inside the fender well. The job will be much easier if you can use the original antenna cable. I ran the new one to the radio.
Are you putting in another power antenna, or a fixed version?
