Ok, so i had to replace my radiator. everything went smoothe until putting the upper transmission line back on. while tightening it the line cracked. so transmission fluid will spray everywhere when i turn the car on. where can i get a new line? it seems the autopart stores dont carry it.
thanks kevin

There are plenty of good XJ parts at the junkyard. www.car-parts.com The dealership probably has the parts, also try www.allchryslerparts.com.

IF you can take a piece with you go to the dealer and they should have some. I had to replace the hose on my YJ that went from the radiator back to the auto trans. I did not know what size and didn't have the time to go back to the house and get the hose so I just bought two different size hoses (they said it would be one or the other) THe cost was like $1.05 a foot.
Autozone carries hose but cannot tell you what size you need so you can take a piece to them too and it will likely be cheaper. |
