www.midcoastjeep.com | I would suggest investing in a telephone call to Marty, if you want to find out for sure. I would think, though, if he still had some XJ stuff for sale it would be on his website. It's too bad he abandoned the XJ--his products (rock rails, at least) were top notch. __________________ '94 Cherokee Country Engine: 4.0 HO, Sealed canister filter, 3 core CSF steel radiator, CatCo cat, Dynomax Turbo Flow muffler. I stopped making the XJ parts for awhile. I was going to try and sell the XJ product line, but didn't get anyone serious about it, so I still have all of my product plans, and unless someone gives me a real generous offer, I'll start the XJ products again...someday. I got so runover with Liberty product orders that I had to take a break to get caught up, and that was with two people working with me. I'm in the middle of reorganizing the business to become more efficient, get the rest of my KJ Liberty product line finished, get the new KK Liberty product line going, and a few redesigns on some of my XJ products. So, I will have XJ products again soon, but I don't know when at this time. I see you are in Colorado Springs. Give me a call sometime and we can meet up, and see if I can't "dig" something up for you.__________________ 1998 XJ Classic: RE 5" Hybrid, 35" MT/R's, bunch of Rock Lizard Fab stuff of course. 1998 ZJ: 2.5" Lift with 31" Trxus Rock Lizard Fabrications ...Off Road Armor that's "Tough as Scales" |

How about making those with a nice RLF lizard logo and offer it powdercoated with LEDs included cheaper than THOR. I'd whip out the plastic right now for a set. And now that PMW is gone no one makes XJ door panel guards. ![]() |

You're right, there is still quite a demand for my products. I was taking orders and building them as I could, but I guess I wasn't prepared for the huge demand for KJ products, as I thought as many probably do, who would build a Libby? I guess since there isn't much out there and a lot of Libby owners still want to beat their jeeps, I got a lot of the business I wasn't expecting. It got so crazy that my lead times for XJ parts got so long, I hated making customers waiting as long as it was taking, so I took a break. After discontinuing the XJ line, I got flooded with emails and phone calls from XJ people still wanting parts. So, that is why I decided to take time off from both XJ and Liberty production to reorganize the business so I can be more efficient and be able to handle both product lines. My XJ customers have been very good to me, and I made just about everything I wanted to for the XJ besides a rear bumper, so I really hated to discontinue all that hard work permanently. So, when I "open shop" again, I'll be ready for everything. XJ sliders I still make entirely in house, so if XJ guys really wanted a set, and are willing to order and wait a few weeks, then contact me and we will work it out. The other manufactured products requiring cutting and forming, like bumpers, light mounts, quarter guards, etc., are going to be on hold until I'm back into full swing. I really appreciate the support and business from all of you. | |
