Project - Spartan. Ideas/video
Disclaimer: no this wasnt influenced by the movie 300, though now it is just that much more cool. Some of you may already have seen bits and pieces of this throughout the forum before now. Also, this isnt being done to my current jeep i drive around. Its going to be some beater cherokee with an AW4 i can find for cheap
And just because I have to make a dramatic video out of everything: Project Spartan Preview Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions? I want to hack the back and do a desert tan paint job, and do a MINIMAL cage that isnt gaudy (not counting the front exo ). one that will just keep the jeep from folding on itself with no structural rigidness anymore. Low lift and big tires is the name of the game with this. It isnt necessarily going to be a trailered monstrosity as it will be just a really cool weekend wheeler. One that can drive around. (our town seems to be Really lax with fender laws) ![]() And this version which fitch edited, which i think i like better (its just the front exo difference) ![]()

I don't know if you went back to the post I made on the "chopped rear off" thread so I thought I would post here to. Have you thought about making the 50 cal out of PVC pipe. A friend of mine made one for a urban combat truck and it looked real enough to keep slow moving traffic out of his way.
