thanks guys. its 100% painted right now as of 3 weeks ago, i just figured it wasnt worth to update yet...i HOPE to chop the back off this weekend, we shall see

paint used was Krylon flat camo paint. im not sure how much, maybe 6 cans? it was all rattle can. all i did was scuff the surface of the jeep with sandpaper to prep it, it sticks right on and looks good

Looks good.

Did you use any primer? I'm in the process of rattlecanning my whole jeep and I was under the impression that I should primer it before actual paint.

Also, what did you do since you trimmed the rear past the spot welds?

i didnt primer, i just scuffed the original paint up and painted over it, seems to work well for what it is

the rear was done by the previous owner, itll have to be attended to

Hmmm...

You need to use the metal you cut off the top to fill the gaps.

That would be REAL.

A cage or partial cage that ties the rear to the rest of the C-pillar/unibody. Day to day use shouldn't be an issue, it's the offroad activities that will start to twist up the unibody.
