Project Spartan: Desert Metal build - Under way

Well today we started messing with the jeep, not sure whos seen what so far on this forum but i started a new thread for the build. I'll update it as stuff gets done

And here's some pics, the jeep is on a stock suspension and everything, it has my old 33s under it now awaiting more trim and a little bit of suspension, name of the game is low COG. Its going to be painted all desert tan (only part right now just for laughs and to test out how we liked the paint we have, and have the back chopped and likely be topless. With various tubing along the way however that goes.

This was the jeep when i got it last week

And here it is today

lucky for me it was like that when i got it haha

i did a 1 minute cut and fold job on the other side that was untrimmed and it actually came out mint, but it needs more trimming like the opposite side, so thats next, then when it warms up here we start thinking about the back and top

it does have a DIY snorkel in the trunk but i dont really wanna use it, if all goes along the plan there wont be much front fender left anyway so that hole will be gone probably then.

the previous owner put the hole there

now that you've got the base beast, you need to do a couple of spartan photo chops to the driveway flex shots

just saw the old post about you buying the rig.... LOVE the photos of the front end work! You should add a black or powder coated something diamond plate as a fender well so you hide the uni-body stuff under there. would be a pretty cool addition to a totally tubed fender that would show alot of whats underneath... Just thinkin out loud.

Any way, Really a sweet project you have there. I look forward to progress on the beast
