Problems replacing my '95 Cherokee Radiator/Condenser

I hit a deer with my '95 cherokee and now I'm attempting to fix the damage myself- I'm under-experienced (long story- http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/r...r-box-1490700/), so please have patience. My current problem is the radiator/condenser.

I don't know (and can't seem to find) how to remove the line that goes out away from the condenser (as pictured). I tried wrenching on the two sides, but sadly only caused unforeseen damage, (also pictured). Could you guys tell me the error of my ways? Am I trying to take the wrong end off?
EDIT- photos posted in 1st reply. My bad.

Your fine those likes will have to be replaced now. Happened to me as well with my radiator replacement. Just follow the lines back and replace as nessesary. Mine were so rusted that I pb blasted the hell out of it and it snapped my steel line at the same place. Happens all the time to the old vehicles I have. I have a 95 as well .
