power steering problem

will a 89's power steering pump fit on a 2000's power steering bracket?

It might require some "modifying" IIRC the earlier ones had threads that went through the bracket and into the pump. Later ones the bolts go through the pump and into the bracket. MY 97 engine has threads in the manifold and the bolts go through the bracket, through the holes in the pump housing and then thread into the manifold. Take a look,might take some modification with a drill bit but it should be doable.
