Power steering noise

My jeep was starting up sounding louder then ever with a ....if you were to look at a pretty girl and roll your tongue...rrrrrrrrr, kinda noise. And itd get louder as id go and then i couldnt hear it. Last night driving it made a louder noise at one point idling, then i started going and it literally sounded like something broke, came free, not sure what but once i got to a stop light....it sounded completely nornal. Something i hadnt heard in prob 2 weeks or so. Started it and looked around this morning no noise, except a smell is coming from the power steering house and there was a mild screech from that area. The fluid was full...there were no leaks anywhere...and it sounded normal other then that...no idea whats going on.
