First off i have a 87 cherokee laredo totally stock. I'm getting a rather loud popping sound whenever i change gears or turn sharply. It used to be only when i cranked the wheel sharply while backing up but it seems to be getting worse. It's starting to really bug me, any tips on how to get rid of this and what the problem is.

Loose trac bar or trac-bar mount, see if you can tighten them up with a breaker bar.
