picture request
hey everyone, i'm swapping an aw4 into my pos wrangler, and the previous owner swapped in what i think is a '90 cherokee 4.0l. Anyway, i'm not seeing any way to connect the kickdown cable. most cherokees have the throttle, cruise control and transmission cable run across the top of the valve cover and into a bracket that's bolted onto the intake manifold. Most cherokees also have the throttle lever on the front side of the throttle body. Mine seems to be way different.
on my engine the throttle lever is on the rear side of the throttle body and the throttle cable connects to a bracket that's mounted on the far driver side of the intake manifold. if anyone has a picture of their '87-'90 engine bay with a 4.0 and automatic, i'd really love to see it.

Here's a simple way to tell. If the TB has 4 bolts holding it down it's a HO. If it has 3 it's a Renix. If it is a renix, here is some helpful info:
http://www.lunghd.com/Tech_Articles/Engine/Basic_Sensors_Diagnostics.htm The kick down should be on the Throttle arm.
