passenger rear brake light and reverse light not working

I'm trying to figure out why the reverse light and brake light are not working.I replaced all the bulbs but still nothing.Anybody got any ideas?BTW,thanks to those who posted replies to my door issue.Got it taken care of.

Is the problem on both sides, you have no reverse lights or brakelights? If so it sounds like a ground problem. If you have a multi-meter you can test for power at the sockets to see if there is a problem there. The ground is on the inside behind the panel where the spare goes.

The external lights are constant ground with switched power, so if those lamps are not working on just the one side then the light-specific power wires in that harness are damaged. The connectors are probably corroded, it happens fairly often. Easiest fix is to grab a replacement at the junkyard or dealer, whichever you prefer.
