Read this thread for airbag safety warnings - http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/xj-clock-spring-630497/

For something as complicated and important as the airbag system, you should use a Factory Service Manual. You can purchase hard copies of the FSM on-line, on eBay, or from Chrysler/Jeep.

The passenger airbag replacement involves partial disassembly of the dashboard. Complete repair of the airbag system requires a new or good used control unit and clock spring as well as the airbags themselves.
