Overhead counsel questions

I just picked up a overhead console for my Jeep today

I just had what I needed to get the console itself but could not get the wiring harness. My question is, is it possible to hook up the temp gauge and compass on my sport if I go back and get the harness?

What all would I need of the JY Jeep to make the console fully functional in mine?

JY Jeep is a 2000 classic, and mine is a 2000 Sport.

thanks

Go back ASAP and get the wire harness and the temp sensor. The install will be plug and play if the donor Jeep is the same year as your Jeep.

The console will display Compass and Temperature, Trip Odometer, Average Fuel Economy, Instantaneous Fuel Economy, Distance To Empty, and Elapsed Trip time.

The console harness has two plugs that go into the kick panel, plug and play.
The top of the harness plugs into your keyless entry, Console computer, and 2 plugs for the visor lights.

Make sure you get the roof bracket and temp sensor too.

Ok, got the console yesterday for 25 bucks, and went back for the harness, sensor, and bracket and was not charged for them at all

So my car does not have the keyless entry so I only need to worry about the two kick panel pugs, right?

did yours have the plug already for the sensor or did you need to wire one?
