opinion requested.

well guys, as you may've seen in my last post. my old cherokee is dying. its an 89 xj that needs some major work to bring it back to par. and i Need a daily driver. thus i don't have time to rebuild it (nor the place really don't think the apartment managers would dig me doing it out front lol) so i'll put it to you guys, you think i should:

Driving it with a bad head gasket will ultimately be fatal so repairing it at that point wont be an option. Repairing it now seems out of your capablilties. Id junk it seeing that it is a 4 cylinder 2 wheel drive and repairing it isnt feasable. Id junk it before it junks itself if you can dig it.
