why not drive it like a sports car...its a jeep, it has the power to or at least mine does ( with no preformance parts). i can take pretty much any of my budys in a race. any way the tire spin is probably due the lead foot factor. try letting out of the gas and feathering it till you feel like your getting some good traction then worry about getting up to speed. that is what works for me any way

When one tire spins you slow down pretty quick, that wheel has to completly stop spinning befor getting on the gas again befor trying to accelorate again.
Makes for a *****.
Both wheels spinning, there is at least forward movement, and it takes much less off throtle time befor they hook again and you can go.

So because its a Jeep I cant accelerate at a pace the jeep should be able to do so I can merge with surface street traffic without needing the lane free for a block.

Kia AWD would work, except they are ugly as sin.

I was just speeking from experience. Ive had 3 brands of tires on my rig and two of the three were fine in the rain but the other set spun like hell. Ive done tire shop work in the past and the brand you have has a well know history of spinning in the rain. The tires I currently am running, granted they are not that great from sam's club, run great in the rain. The only time I have one wheel spin is if I full throttle it. I merge with traffic at speed just fine. Basically what I was trying to say is, you can do whatever you want with the truck for LSD or whatever but your still going to come back to spinning the tires all the time with the brand you have. just my 2 cents

make sure your tires are the SAME pressure. Diferent pressure in each tire could cause u to supin. and it has to do with ur driving habbit, u can beleive us or not. but the ONLY time i spin out in the rain is when im on my way to a fire call, and im driving like an *******. and punching the accelerator. otherwise i drive easy and i DONT spin.

I've never run my tires any more than 32 PSI, so to me 34 is overinflated. I still get Wheel-peel but my keds are almost bald! try running a lower PSI to see if that helps a bit.

Is your jeep a standard or Auto tranny?

Stock off the line PSI for just about every jeep is 32psi. If your running 34 PSI that can effect how well your tread is touching the pavement.

all tires are the same, i check every week or so.
I put the tires to 32, (2psi really isnt much at all) so we will see if that helps at all.

reading reviews anywhere I cant see anyone say these tires are bad in the rain.
I mean when I brake hard they dont lock early, even with standing water they hold. So I dont see how its the tire.
I swear it was never this easy to get the wheel peel, seems like it does it more and more often.

Driving habbits, well I want to go above 1800 rpm when merging from a stop to traffic going 40 mph, otherwise its really hard to get anywhere because you need such a large opening.

I hardly ever go wide open unless I am passing or something.

Im not going to get into a battle about it. just giving my opinion backed with facts from previous experience.
You can choose to believe me or not.

i would say the tires could be the culprit. with my old tires i could spin them all the time but my new ones i have to try to spin them. its not that they are hard to spin on wet pavement but just normal driving they dont spin much. and i have a lead foot as is
