OME lift is ON..!!! AWESOME. .......(and thanks to....)

Broke every single bolt for the TC drop, Hacked the frame to fish the new bolts in, busted one spring eye bolt, didn't get my JKS discos or track bar on due to not having a drill big enough to tackle the track bar mount hole, and couldnt figure out the sway bar mount removal...... Another time. Bolted it all together, torqued to spec, flexed it a few times, and the suspension settled down just right.

It looks AWESOME. Nice aggressive stance, not too big, but big enough that it looks tough as nails. The RIDE and FLEX are incredible. I dont think Jeep could have made it this good from the factory. I am thoroughly and utterly pleased. I finally have a REAL XJ, worthy of eyeballing (pics up tommorrow) with decent mods overall.

I want to thank:

.......................And a few others that I am forgetting, for your personal input and experiences, for giving me late night support, suggesting matching, quality parts, and generally answering stupid noobie questions throughout the process.

- Truly appreciated.

1996 2 door / 5 speed / Black / OME "3 coils, shocks and leaf packs / "30 in Toyo A/Ts / Rusty's full T-case skid / Factory front and rear skids / Custom air box w/ K&N drop in filter / Upgraded cooling system, ported T-stat housing, GDO 3 row, etc / Guage cluster swap / Flowmaster and hi-flow cat /99 intake / bored throttle body / 99 GC LCA's / 99 headliner upgrade /......too many new parts to list.

sweet, now post the pic's and get an alignment.
-and let me get that other skid plate you have at your house

and the front swaybar, the bolts on the axle mounts are press fitted in, rent a pitman arm puller and pop those puppies off. thats what i did

you could heat them up and use a BFH... some people have luck with that, i tryed it and bent the mount a bit, so i went and got the puller.

I had a professional "persuader" remove the bolts from the axle mounts.
He went "LOL BLOW TORCH" and now I have a bent mount.

OME lifts have great flex for thier lift size.

pitman arm puller to get that bolt outta the sway bar mount...

BFH + Heat = a trip to auto zone with 12 bucks for a pitman arm puller and possiblity of a smashed finger...
