Nice weather=Stuff getting done. You?

Today the weather was nice, I thought I would get some stuff done. I finally fixed my steering box bolt, installed my ZJ gas tank skid, did a little painting, busted lip and a couple of really sore fingers, but I wouldn't have it any other way. All I can say is what would you do w/o a torch, some good vise grips, PB Blaster and a breaker bar? I would have never been able to do this w/o these tools. Those who don't have and work on your rig, put it on you list. Trust me!

Tomorrow I going to give the XJ a bath, wax, remove and put on some decals, install a new hi-po thermostat and hi-flow t-stat housing.

Some pics tomorrow.

What projects did you finally get to do this weekend, providing your weather was a great as mine. 76 and sunny.

well since I've got it on the clipboard, here's what I did today!

Replaced one of the redneck fenders(have another in the garage waiting to be trimmed) and the header panel:

cut out most of the front passenger floor, have a template, just need to cut the new metal to fit tomorrow.

fixed the broken crossmember bolts(thanks to Jack(rubicon 1/jeepman of westland))

pulled the drivers side carpet, not as bad as the passenger side was.

welllll lets seee...
i pulled off my rear interior panels so i could get out those louver things on the outside..
pulled out the rear wiper motot..
pulled of the rear bumper, bumper brackets, taillights, bumper end caps..
pulled off my door handles, door panels, my whole front clip and bumped and end caps, took off my windshield trim, the thing infron of the windhsield covering up my wiper motot, took off the antenna and antenna housing, ground down alot of metal that has some surface rust...
reground down three of my four fender flares, longboard sanded my whole jeep (the flat parts), bondo little dings n dents in door n rear fenders, put a layer of fiberglass on my three fenderflares which were ground down n needed it..
put in my new alternator and drive belt, finished taking out the bottom half of my air box for my new intake, degreased under the hood of my jeep..
well thats just in a weekends work..
haha jk all the body work and alternator etc was done..
i pulled everything off of it probably in the last 2 weeks..
and if ur wondering the body work is getting redone and its getting painted again..
hopefully it will be all done withtin a month..

btw if ur wondering why i ground down my fender flares look at my cardomain page, we molded them on with fiberglass the first time we did body work n my bigger tires hit n crackd a few..
well heres the site hope u like it..
and i will have many more pics up by the end of the weekend of the progress of bodu work..

First day of warm weather invited me to find this: First body shop guy told me that my frame rails are also starting to rust, and grinding and welding them could weaken them further ... still trying to figure out what i want to do with it

I took my doors off. Ripped the carpet out of the cargo area. (no rust ). Then I went and ate at my grandmas. My grandpa freaked when I pulled up with no doors

I'll be off work from July 21st - 29th, so sometime then would be great. Plus I get my bonus at work in June and I have a couple of things I would like to do before we go.

I wouldn't be too excited .... this is what my cargo area looks like: (Minimul surface rust and one small hole) At the same time my entire front floor pans were rotted through 80%
