Neutral safety switch wiring problems

Hey guys
I went to go fix my neutral safety switch on my 1993 Cherokee. Neither back up lights nor starter were working. The switch was shot and needed to be replaced. So I bought one online and turns out that the plug connector is completely different. My '93 has a male end NSS connector with six wires, while the newer model ( im guessing 1997 - 2001) has a female end NSS connector with seven wires.

Ive looked everywhere on the web and couldnt find much of anything to help out. Could anybody help me out with a wiring diagram of some sort. I would like to rewire the new NSS switch with the older male style connector.

This diagram is the only thing i found for the 1987 - 1996 NSS switch

So if i were to want to bypass it I would pull the wires from b&c and solder them together?

Yes, but you may get a CEL for trans range selector.

Ive seen that diagram for the 1987 to 1996 years

All I need is the newer diagram for the 1997 to 2001 cherokee so I can fit the old connector on

My nss crapped out on me too so i just ran a wire to the starter and another one to the batt and got a switch. Who needs reverse lights anyway?

1992 Cherokee Laredo 4.0 L6, Aw4, Dana 30/35, Np242, 201k

Yeah i hear what youre saying
Problem is i already bought one so i need to know how to swap the connectors

Anyone have a wiring diagram for both a 93 NSS switch and a 98 NSS switch?
