need some xj lift help

I have the chance to get some 3in lift coils and springs for my 2000 xj but they were from an 84-88 xj. I heard the front coils where different but I'm not sure. Anyone know?

When I ordered my kit from rusty's offroad, the kit was labeled to fit 84 to 01. It sounds like they are the same.
