need shock bolt sizes
i have a 1992 and am going to put my new shocks on this weekend, does anyone know what size of the bolts for the bar pins on both the rear and front shocks. I am going to put new bolts in the old bolts place and have a great supply of S/S bolts here at work.....thanks

I just replaced shocks a few weeks ago on my 91 XJ 4.0. I replaced only the nuts and bolts up front -- the rear ones were fine on my car:
M8 x 1.25. The rear bolts looked to be the same size, but were the thread starter type that resist cross-threading (don't really know what these types of bolts are called). |
