Hey gang, just tryign to get this thing back on the road, its a 1995 Cherokee AW4, and it has the starting problem with the NSS (I can put it in neutral and back into park and it usually starts). i was hoping someone on here had a diagram so i can straight wire the NSS and bypass so it will start all the time. i would just replace it, but the cheapest new one is $180 and i just don't have that kinda $$ right now. this is just a winter beater.... any help would the greatly appreciated. thanks again.

you can take it off and clean it out and reassemble with dielectric grease, that usually fixes them.

You're welcome man.
Ha, I just looked and you're only about a hour and a half away from me. Where do you go wheeling at?

I don't know if the NSS for a '95 XJ Sport is the same as yours, but I didn't pay that much. And I have a brand new one laying in my Jeep somewhere. Are they the same? Just out of curiousity, and if they are I'll sell ya mine cheap.

I can't believe they are charging that either, I bought one brand new for my XJ Sport, it was a year and a half ago, but it cost me less than 30 bucks. Mine must be different. Thats the only thing I can think as to why the one for yours would cost more. Glad you got yours workin though.
