Need Help Finding High-Beam Wire On '00 XJ.
Trying to install my new lights. Instructions on my Hellas are telling me to splice into the high beam wire.
What is the simplest way/method of finding this wire? I don't have an electrical testing device. I only have a multimeter handy.

Set the meter to voltage and probe the headlamp socket with the red lead in the socket and the black lead grounded, as your helper flips the high beams on and off.

Maybe someone has personal experience with a known exposed location and wire color?
I've already stripped out a seized up screw trying to remove the headlamp. |
