Hey, my father lives in Springfield, MO.

OK, back on topic. With a 97 XJ, you need a cat with the O2 sensor bung. None of those have that, and they are too much $$$$.

I got my Magnaflow cat from summit with the O2 bung. I went with the 2.5" IN/OUT, part #94036, but for the stock 2.25" IN/OUT, go with the #94035. I also got new O2 sensors while I was at it since taking the stock one out of the old cat was a pain. Here is the one I am talking about: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

Here is a picture of the 94036 compared to the stock flat cat in my 98 (some of the newer XJ's had that big fat coffee can cat).

Get the Catco direct fit. I got the Catco universal and it is a good unit, but I wasn't able to bolt the factory muffler and tail pipe back up, so I junked it and have run the past year and a half with nothing after the cat.
