To give you an idea of how unimportant that rear sway bar is, DC didn't put one on the Cherokee Country editions, which had ever so slightly stiffer leaf springs. You won't notice a negative change in ride quality by getting rid of it. Getting rid of the front one is a different story... I wouldn't do that unless you like driving around town on three wheels.
