The hoist was used to get the body up a little higher for removal of the old springs and installation of the new coils. It was in the air for about 2 minutes and then went back down onto the jackstands. I refuse to use coil spring compressors...they are to damn dangerous.

Usually I see woodgrain and the "Griswald Family Truckster" but you project is coming out down right BAD A$$!!!

Thanks, but you got it backwards. I'm extremely proud of both my kids and honored to be their father. Daniel is an exceptional student and plays on his schools varsity football team. My daughter is just as intelligent and they both keep me young at heart.

That's very true as well, but i remember i wasn't so privileged.

BUT being a 26 year old father of 2 kids under 4 years, i look forward to doing the same thing you are, i just need to learn how to weld, haha

Would you mind PMing me a price on the long arm + crossmember? It seems like you started a business without meaning to. If you don't have the time I understand what its like but if you do great...

Hell, why not a price for just the cut steel and some directions? I can weld it myself and save you time!
