Since we built it...not too much. The TRE's are all off the shelf Chevy, I picked up weld in inserts from a local shop, and the dom from a local steel vendor. I'll get ya some dimensions a little later today.

This is a great thread. You can't put a price tag on that XJ by any means. The experience and knowledge your son is gaining, in addition to the time you guys are spending together on it is really awesome. Good luck with the rest of the build - the rig looks awesome!

The DOM for the drag link and tracbar is 1.5"x3/16"wall. Draglink is 24.5" and the trackbar is 40 3/8". These are for the DOM only and does not include the length of the weld-in inserts.

New one-2000 XJ sport- Now has 3.5" lift, Hp 30/8.25 w/4.10's, V8 Zj steering Totaled 3/18/10-'99 Black 2 door XJ DD, 3.5+" bastard lift. SOLD-'98 TJ 4 banger 5 speed, 4.88's, Hp 30 ARB'd, S35 w/Detroit and truss, RK LA's, Kilby skids and LOTS of other junk. Should have kept it! Traded for my XJ - '98 ZJ was pretty and built at one time- Hp30, 8.8 and 5" lift and other stuff. |

FWIW the LA's are 2"x.25wall D.O.M. and the uppers are 1.5"x.120wall DOM, the hoop is 1.5"x.120 HREW, everything else is .25" box tube and plate. The joints are all TeraFlex except the axle side which use stock rubber bushings to cut down on vibes and road noise.
