Photo's of my 2000 Cherokee.. Why U Should Not Fall A Sleep At The Wheel

YOU CAN NOW SEE PHOTO'S OF MY JEEP IN THIS THREAD.I MANGED TO DO THIS ONE NIGHT DRIVING HOME AFTER WORKING TO DOUBLES IN A ROW. AND WAS VERY TIRED AND FELL A SLEEP AT THE WHEEL. AND MY JEEP STRATLED A GUARD RAIL THEN FLIPED OVER IT DOWN A 25-30 FOOT CLIFF....AND I WALKED AWAY FROM ALL THIS AFTER I WOKE UP 2 1/2 HOURS LATER FROM BEING KNOCKED OUT WITH JUST SOME MINOR INJURY'S LIKE GLASS IN MY HEAD AND A FEW OTHER CUT'S. BUT IT COULD HAVE BEEN A LOT WORSE SEEING I AM A BARTENDER AND DO NOT COME HOME FROM WORK TILL LIKE 3AM WHEN THERE IS NOBODY ELSE OUT ON THE ROADS SO IF I WOULD HAVE NOT WOKEN BACK UP NO ONE WOULD HAVE SEEN ME OR MY TRUCK SEE IT WAS SO FAR DOWN OVER THE CLIFF, AND THERE WAS NOT SKID MARKS NOTHING THE GUARD RAIL WAS NOT EVEN HURT.

I almost had the same thing happen this summer in Virginia, right outside of the Hampton Colleseum. My friend that I was traveling with wook me up and I was just inches from a wall. Scary sh*t!

You were damn lucky to walk away from that one all in one piece. Glad you weren't hurt (as bad as you could have been).

Christ,

You don't know how lucky you are to walk away from that, and didn't even feel the impact of the crash or anything. Glad to hear that you are ok, sad to hear that the XJ is not.

Ouch. I don't really see how someone could fall asleep driving. But then again I'm young and usually listening to music while driving. Glad you're ok though.

Yeah I consider myself young too at the age of 25. But working 34 hours in 2days and then having and hour of driving time put on that for each day makes for a lot of work and very little sleep in 2 day's

You should consider doing a convertable cherokee conversion. Be a pioneer
