originaly i was going to make it just a trail rig but after working on it and driving it i realized how great of shape its in and i think i am going to make it streetable. i have a daily driver but i want to make this as my offroad toy and also have it legal so i can use it to get parts or throw my quad in the back or w/e. thats the reason we are making the flares. in jersey u have to have flares cover your tires to pass inspection.

i am going to probably buy a sticker for it anyway but my biggest goal on the project is to make it look really nice so that when a cop sees it he wont pull me over thinking its a hack job.

Nice get those tube fenders done we wanna see pics.

Also, you could just get some sort of plastic and zip tie on the tubes for inspection then take them off and run without them.

I'm digging the tail gate.

And yeah XJ-8 would be cool but done make the stickers huge and flashy just put some in the bottom corner back and the fenders. Make it look good without saying look at my stickers. Also, people will look. make them look at the whole XJ not just dang look at the stickers.

What next? Any suspension mods or tire change?

tire change is a no only because the backs are at about 90% tread and i can afford a whole new set of 35's. i will probably just get a new front set because they are about bald.

as far as the lift goes i am going to try and add another inch and a half to make it 5 inch total. first i gotta fab up a t-case drop and buy a adjustable track bar
