Heres the bull**** Iv gone through in the past few days. It started with me out at lake isabella pullin my friend outa the mud and then I got stuck in a sink hole like he did. after that my power steering back ****ed up thats about it. I go home to vegas and a couple days later my jeep starts to stutter alot and stall at lights once every time i go out atleast. I came home and the next morning my jeep couldnt start....I had no spark .. found out that was the crankshaft position sensor....changed it ...now I got spark....then I put the distributer back to first piston because I had messed with it before.my jeep would start but backfires when I give it gas but idles well. I changed the timing chain and the sprockets because Me and everyone around me figured it was because my chain was lose or it was slippin and my distributer would go 180 degrees from were I set it at after trying to start it and stuff.. I put the new sprockets and chain on aligned them and now im back at the same problem .....jeep runs but backfires like hell when I give it gas....... Im thinkin maybe it isnt my timing maybe its because I got dirt in the crankshaft sensor on the tranny bell housing and it wont read the little numbers......does anyone kno what the hell is going on please let me kno
