My bumper install, as promised.
Hey, I promised the pictures, and here they are. Took four hours, some profanity, a couple strips of duct tape, and a complete disregard of the reinstall instructions on the horns and vac canister, but it's finally installed.
for now, the vac canister is behind the AC compressor. the horns are in their semi-stock locations. The provided 1/2 x 1-1/2 bolts didn't go through the boxed framerail on the passenger side, so I had to spend an extra $3 on grade 8 bolts, lock washers, and lock nuts. not a bad buy. here are some pics: before: ![]() after: ![]() side view: ![]() bracket: ![]() under view, with skid plate: ![]() close up of skid plate: ![]()

if i were you, i'd shoot some black paint on the white parts of the frame up front so it blends in more now that you can see back there

I dont think so. They have a rear TJ and YJ one, who knows if they can custom make it to work. www.orfab.com
I plan on putting some lights in the gap. probably some smaller hella 500 styles. either that or some PIAA driving lights. I gotta check into that. first things that have to go on before more lights: lift, 31's, rockers, and skids ![]()

that's fine. for what I do (light mudding, hill climbing, rock wash riding, moderate trail riding, desert running), it was the best for me. why?
warn: too much $ for what it would be used for arb: too much $ period hanson: ugly imho rustys: the single bar prerunner is ugly as well olympic: bland, no real strong suit applications four real: expensive others were considered, but I wanted the prerunner style foremost. i picked OR Fab for it's application. 80% of my XJ use is on road, and about 70% of it's off road is on moderate, but tight trails, which means the bumper needed to a. fit the body lines as best as possible b. be light c. be aerodynamic it was the all around winner, and for under 3 benjies, I wasn't going to complain. Less money into one add-on means down the line more add-ons.
