Stickers coming off and got some updates.

I made me some 3/4" zero rate blocks for the rear. And got some grade 8 U bolts from Rustys.

The zero rates are 9/16" offset that will shift my axle forward 9/16". I'm putting a 1 degree angle on them to help with pinion angle so they should net me about 5/8" lift.

Heres some pics:

They're going on this week or Saturday and I'll snap some pics and let you know how it goes.

I ended up making them into 2 degrees. Also, they measure 11/16"ish. I put them on this afternoon after work but I was by myself for most of it and I didnt wannt stop to get the camera so I shot some test pics at the hunting club with the front sways off and checking to see if the the zero rate mover the axle in the right spot. Check it out.

Front of rear flare. Mud on the tires but not touching at all. Shocks bottomed out right there.

Back of rear flare. Not hitting anymore. Axles pretty well centered in the wheel well. I like it. Gave me 3/4" lift and leveled everything out too. Sitting at 21 1/2" rear 21 3/4''ish front. Basically the 4" gave me 4 1/2"(almost).

I'm ordering a Rugged Ridge SYE tomorrow! and trying to find a front DS. When I find the DS I'll be putting them on and adding a 1" BB. Putting a TNT boomerang shackle out back and either a 1" or 1.5" depending on how soon I decide on which bumper I'm getting.

Cant make up my mind on a AJ's winch bumper, Rigidco's FbW2 or FbG, and making my own.

Which one yall think will look the best on my XJ?

I just can't learn to love the winch bumpers. They stick out in front of the Jeep too much for my taste, plus I don't do near enough wheeling to justify one. Maybe if we got a lot of snow in this area anymore. I got the FbG with a hoop so the grille would be protected as well. There are a lot of deer around this area and I figure the Rigidco bumper will tear one in half before it hurts the front of my Heep. Plus it has the front receiver so I can use a multimount if I really need to.

Ya I hear you but the new design of the FbW2 seems to make the winch tuck in there tight and good.

Ill see about the financial part of it first.

I had to dip into the bumper fund a bit and I bought some stuff...

Got 3/4" lift Rusty's shackles.

Pro Comp MX6 rear monotube shocks. Mine that came with the kit are for over 6.5" lift(too long!)

And a AA SYE from a guy on here as well. Picking up a front driveshaft from the pick n pull this week sometime.
All in all I'm glad I went ahead and got this stuff out of the way. The vibes were getting worse and worse. Also, the ride sucks as it is with rear AAL but having 2" of up travel mt shocks were bottoming out just driving over speed bumps. Hopfully the new ones will help that.

Oh and I just finished putting in some Sylvania Silverstars # 6054st. The HID ones. Got em from Advanced Auto for $42 on the way home. Waiting for it to get dark to adjust them. Snapping pics too. No befores but you know how the stock 10 year old headlights look LOL.

Yeah I figured that out quickly. I was in a hurry to finish the rear to go drive it that I didnt pay attention to the rear shock length.
Around these parts having droop means nothing. I'm not on rocks to let the other side drop ot from under me I'm running on logging trails and mud.
The rear shocks are the same size as some that come with 6.5" kits!
This is why I got the MX6s.
The ones I have now are over 19" collapsed and the ones I got are like 17.5".

pics from little trails at the hunting club:

New sticker and took the CAGE one off the other side:

Shocks will be here Tuesday. Hoping the shackle will be before Saturday and if I can get Paypal to clear my money I should have the SYE before then too.

I'm at 22" in the front and 21" rear. I've got the 3/4" shackles on the way. That will put the rear up to 4 3/4" lift. What should I do on the front? I'm looking at making either a 1/2" spacer or 3/4". I'm going to get or make a front bumper soon and IDK whether to go ahead and go with something a bit bigger so a can commensate for any sag when the bumper is on or go with the 1/2" to just level it out?...Advice?

One more and my new favorite. It flexes better backing up than pulling forward.

P.S. rear shocks bottomed out way too soon. Could have gone further and sways are on.
