my 87 build needs....(opinions please)

ok so here is where im at.......


6" lift
35's
custom longarms
stock gears
stock brakelines

my question is where and what kind of brake lines should i get?
another question where and what kind of gears should i get?
im looking at buying 4.88 gears, i just ordered a true trac detroit locker for the dana 30 and i need to know where i can get a carrier for the dana 44 and master install kits?

im looking to buy cheap as i have a 1000 dollars to spend

all help is appreciated thanks

well i wouldnt really know for the gears, but for the breaklines i would definalty recommend the RE braided lines found here.

i just bought some crown indutsries lines 114 front and back. i was about to buy the RE ones from jason though

Did you get a SYE yet? IMO that'd be the next thing after brake lines. Then you can mount up the long arms the rest of the way. After that then go for gears.

i bought yukon 4.88 gears master install kits and rear 44 carrier. i also bought the brakelines last night. i was just under my jeep and actually my rear drive shaft is not in an angle all that much.! i do have a problem with the front though because my lower control arms seem a lil too long! and dopod you are right and thats exactly what i was going to do. when i get the sye i will take the tc drop spacers out and mount the xmember flush to the frame! then i will drill the holes through the frame

I think once you get the t-case drop out of there the long arms will be pulled back a little so they might not be too long after that.

actually you know i didnt think of that maybe your right! i guess we will see! its weird because im getting vibes from the front ds and not the rear
