The "mud mod" seems like a hard one. How did you go about performing it

Actually, i've just been waiting for that to happen but i go wheeling at least every weekend and with a little thought i've been able to drive away unscathed every time

Thanks. all i did was make a paper template and cut the aluminum to the shape. Then i marked the visor holes, drilled them out and pre-drilled the holes for the screws on the cb bracket. I finished it off but cutting off the screws sticking out the top and re-installing the visor clips.

BTW- do you guys think its absolutly nessecary to change my diff fluids? the mud was very soupy and watery in a few spots and was most likely above my axle tube/seals and bearings. i've hosed down the underdside pretty well and blasted the mud out of most of the nooks and crannies, are there any other things that i should/need to do?
Thanks

Open the fill hole, dip your pinky in and look to see if the gear oil looks off (like chocolate milk).

don't worry if it smells bad, thats how it is supposed to smell

What about my wheel bearings and bearings in the axle tube? if the nasty mud made it to the pumpkin it would have had to gone through a few bearings too
