Lubricating slip joint, which grease?

What type of grease/lubricant should I use to grease my slip joint? I'm following this: http://jeepforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=357569&page=3

They suggested anti-sieze, someone else suggest wheel bearing grease. Not sure what I should go with.

i'm with matt on this one. i have seen antieize thicken and "gunk" up sliding parts so often. when first used, it actually is a good lubricant but dries up. i would suggest a synthetic wheel bearing/chassis grease. i personally use lucas heavy duty grease. i think that stuff will last over 100 years .

Yeah, anti-sieze didn't sound like the right thing for the job, but they mentioned in the thread that lots of people use it and it seems to last.

I'll probably go with Lucas Heavy Duty Grease, that looks good. Have you personally used it in the spot I'm planning to?
