I hope you find a vehicle as reliable in that price range. Yeah, it might get better mileage, but what you save in gas will cost you in repairs. The XJ is one of the EASIEST vehicles to keep on the road.

I don't own an XJ any longer, but I still think they are the best of all the Jeep products ever made. My XJ was my favorite vehicle in my 50+ years of driving.
So...I stick around and give advice.
