i had the sway bar thing happen in the front, major piss off. it was hitting the inside fenderwell making one hellofa noise, seemed it was bottoming out before the bumpstop...possibly bent? i dunno, but a lift fixed that right quick

Check your shock bushings. Ive had bushings split and make the clunking sound. Also had a shock rip a bar pin. both made the same clunking sound youre describing.

Same prob here i had when i got mine and started to wheel it, it is most likely your front sway bar bushings, take the sway abr and wiggle it up and down, if it moves then your problem is only a 6 dollar fix from quadratec.com, i am almost positive thats what it is. I go through a pair every month due to alot of wheeling, now i just let it em loose(bushings).
