Loud CLUNK
Ok, I was coming home last night and it was pouring down rain, and within 2 miles of my house this guy in a miata pulls out in front of me. I then threw the steering wheel hard left and a loud clunk followed suit. I then got worried so pullin into my neighborhood I started steering hard back and fourth and the clunks still followed. Does anyone have any idea what this is, have you ever had this happen. I dont even know where to start, at first I thought it was the spring trying to jump out of the pockets....but that doesnt seem right because it sounds in the middle of the axle. Any advice would be great!

my steering clunk was the drag link end....
check your drag link, tie rod, control arms, control arm mounts (axle and body), track bar, ball joints, hubs, basically your entire front end..... |
