Looking to get a xj as a daily driver

what all should i look for? I'm looking for a dd but i don't want to get a fwd honda or something similiar. I'm looking at probably around 6k tops, that I can spend. Thanks all.

i had this great thought once, but i forgot what the thought was that i was thinking about what i thought and then i forgot what that was that i thought?

Try to find one between the years of '97-'99. I say that b/c in 97 a nicer(IMO) interior was introduced. The 2000+ are vulnerable to cracked heads. The '99s have the upgraded intake manifold.

besides that check for the usual stuff like rust and leaks. You should have no prob getting something nice for 6000.
