bergen county here as well, and wheel at stag hill too. Check out the Tri-State 4x4 website, we are a bunch of NJ, NY, PA wheelers with a little club/forum with monthly trips to Paragon or Rausch Creek.

Where do you wheel? I'm from Long Valley, just a few towns over. I also have alot of family in Randolph and Dover, including the family business. Didn't have too many places to wheel around there though...

There are a few places around me...none are technically "legal", but they're far enough away from everything that no one complains and there's really no problems with it. What's the family buisness? Do you live in Maine or Long Valley?

Where is this Stag Hill?...I've never heard of it.

I am goin to school in Maine and legally live up here. However, I was born and raised in the Valley. My moms side of the family owns the Chevy/Olds dealer in Dover.

Do you have actual trails and stuff or just the construction sites and farmers fields we played in back in high school back home?

They own Ayers Chevy/Olds? No kidding, my shop is always buying GM parts through that dealer...including more than a few Pontiac parts for my Grand Prix

They are mostly trails where we wheel, I'd assume the construction sites you're referring to have been finished and paved over, but I don't know what sites you're referring to

Yup, Ayers. Dave and Fred run it now, along with the Boyds I guess. I've put in a few hours there myself. :-D Glad to know you are giving them business, I dunno what is gonna happen when Olds finally bites the dust!

And yeah, we used to screw around on whatever construction sites and stuff that were around. We thought we were all "tough" and stuff, crawlin all over those "hills" and such. It was really rather sad looking back on it... I have much more fun now.

I thought Olds was already done? They'll have to keep selling Chevys and servicing all the GM cars and trucks...they'll be OK

I dunno, I thought they still has some Olds left on the lot, but I ain't been home in a while anyways.. they could be out by now. I'm not too worried about them though, it just doesn't seem right to only have Chevy though.

Bjones, you need to know where to look when wheeling the Pines. Shoot me an e-mail and I will get you in touch with some people who can hook you up.
