A little front end noise

Well...I kinda figured that once I lifted the jeep I would have a bunch of questions.

Everything is done and installed...torqued..etc. I took the jeep into the back field last night, just get an idea of how the suspension is working and to generally test things out.

No vibes at all (which is great)....but I notice that when I turn the wheel while trying to go over a dip or a bump...I get a squeeking or rubbery type sound (if that makes any sense). The noise is quite loud.... Almost sounds like something is binding. But again, I get no vibes and the transmission/4 wheel drive works as it should. A quick inspection last night shows nothing to be loose or binding that I can see.

Take into acct that I do not have my front swaybar connected right now. But it did not appear to be rubbing anywhere. Any ideas?

The jeep is a 99 sport...with rustys 3" coils up front.

Sorry about the long post...just excited to get this sorted out...Plus my wife is getting ticked that I have been using her grand cherokee as my daily driver and dropping her off at work....

Hmmm, what pops into my mind is maybe it is the rubber bushings on the steering stabilizer bar - with a 3" lift, you probably are putting alot of stress on the stock unit. I think at 3", either extending the SS mounting brackets or longer SS rods is necessary. Try disconnecting the SS, then take it out and try again. If the noise goes away, then viola!

Just a thought...
