Is this for a 1990 XJ?
If we have data, letís look at data. If all we have are opinions, letís go with mine.

Im having trouble with my 1990 xj 4.0 L automatic< problem is my the switch on the brake pedal itself doesn't kick on in time? does anybody have a picture of the the way the switch is supposed to be? i've already switched it around, and it doesn't seem to make a difference which direction the switch is placed..
I've almost been rear ended a few times bc the brake lights don't come on in time im thinking i'm missing a part this is why i kinda need a pic? btw my breaks wont adjust in the rear. the brakes are newso the pedal is very sloppy not my doing.. just need help w/ the bleeding process...
now if i tighten the switch too much and step on the brake, it sticks and lights stay on. loosen it a half turn and the lights come on w/ a delay. its a 9.00 $ part and it is new. any help will be appreciated!!
