Lift Progression Question

Just looking for some feedback...I know my mind will change a million times before i choose what lift to go after.

My XJ is my DD...on a 110 mile round trip daily commute (until my house sells). Needless to say, I can't go too big and affect my mileage too horribly much. Also, I'm getting married in the fall, and HOPEFULLY moving some time soon, so $$$ is a premium too. On to the ideas.

Qtec HD Rear Springs (w/ 7" Arch) & Daystar Econo Lift w/ Monroe SensaTrac's - Running 30's or trimming out the fenders for 31's. Should run around $500 for the lift, but I'm thinking would ride pretty great, and get me through the 2 tracks where I hunt. Also, I could start with the springs, then the Econo, etc. in steps.

A couple of years down the road, throwing in a 4.5" AAL kit, or S10 leaf set up. I just can't swing the SYE anytime in the near future, and don't want to risk hitting that threshold until I can swing the $$$.

Sorry for being longwinded, and thanks in advance

Save your money and go for a 3.5 inch or 4 inch lift
get some s10 leaves from a junker, and order some 3.5 or 4 inch springs and get some LCA's from someone and a track bar from a grand cherokee V8.
OOOOOOOOOrrrrrrrrrr, save up MORE and get the full leaf pack 4.5, not AAL, buy a SYE at the same time, or t-case drop for temp.
2 inches wont satisfy you if your looking at 4.5 in the future
OOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRR, get the budget boost, and when you can afford it, buy a 2.5 inch kit and add on

You're probably right about me not being happy with a simple BB. Trouble is, my stock leaf packs are saggy...so anything AAL is out of the question unless I upgrade the packs first.

The nice thing if I went the route above...I'd have some stuff to level things out, or add on to for the future.

4-4.5 kits are around 600 anyway from what I saw, may as well wait and get the whole thing done right.

With a 99 you will probably need one sooner than later. JIM.

My main concern!

How's the ride with regular shocks on the the RE kit? PORC has it for $600 w/ free shipping and their $30/ea shocks.
